It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. It’s a place to be around people who understand what you are feeling. At Grief Share, you’ll learn valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future.
To register, please call Doug & Sharon Carlson,
503-663-1098, or you can register at the class.
Here are some observations from class facilitators:
-
We’ve seen people who could only cry when they started the class progress to where they could share about the loss of their loved one with the group.
-
We’ve seen very sad people begin to smile again - on their journey from mourning to joy.
Here are some comments from class attendees:
-
I got into this class at just the right time - the topic that first evening gave me just what I needed.
-
I learned so much. I now understand why I feel the way I do, and that it is okay. Thank God for the blessings of this class.
-
We feel so close to one another as a group because we share in the grieving process.
